Crazy World is the brain child of rock’n’roll madman Mika Järvinen, well-known and highly regarded cult figure and the leader of hard rock group Five Fifteen. After more than 10 years down the road and hundreds of gigs, it was time to do something else...

You may call Crazy World as the definitive Finnish hard rock super group. Järvinen’s idea was to compile all the best elements in the spirit of classic rock sounds of Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple , The Who and Bowie. Yeah, we know it’s been done thousand times before but look at the line-up and listen to results.

The heavy duty line-up speaks its own language, featuring members of Wigwam, Stratovarius and Pekka Pohjola Group. Despite the obvious retro aspect, Crazy World includes ten strong originals penned by Järvinen and guitar wizard Kämäräinen with one cover, brilliant version of Zeppelin classic “Good times, bad times”. You may not find better cover version anywhere! The leader Järvinen has also been busy translating classic rock saga, Stephen Davis’ Zeppelin book “Hammer of the gods” for the Finnish market. Crazy World will support the album and book release with selected gigs and book fair appearances.
